Stranded kids home

Youngsters from the Mervue United soccer club were overwhelmed by the welcome home they received when they arrived back in the city following a 36-hour air, bus, and sea journey from Denmark on Tuesday.But senior members of the club have expressed disquiet with the way in which Ryanair treated the teenagers after they were stranded in London following technical difficulties on a connecting flight, also operated by Ryanair, on Monday.The club managed to charter a bus to take them to Holyhead for the Stena Lines ferry home after the 47 youngsters were told that they could be left waiting in Britain for up to three days.Twenty members of the group were…..
