The country’s farm leader has slammed what he called the lack of urgency shown by the EU Commission to sort out the rapidly deteriorating fertiliser crisis.
THE announcement by Minister for Agriculture, Martin Heydon, of a €100 million fuel support package for farmers, agri-contractors and fishers, has been given a guarded welcome by farm representatives.
