RECESSION MANAGEMENT KEY FOCUS OF SME WEEK IN CITY

Small and medium businesses in Galway will emerge from recession more focused and more cost effective.

That's the view of Chief Executive of Galway Chamber of Commerce Michael Coyle as European SME Week 2010 kicks off today.

The week - which takes place in 37 countries - is an opportunity for SMEs to share experiences and develop their businesses.

A number of events will take place in the city this week with particular emphasis on managing businesses through recession.
