London pub holding fundraiser for Galway man battling disease

The community have watched his health detoriate in recent months which has led them to put together the thoughtful fundraiser
A UK pub is holding a fundraiser for a Galway man battling Parkinson’s disease after his wonderful local community came together to support him during a tough six months.
The Irish in London have organised the event - which you can find more information on here - for Jarlath Birmingham who has been living with Parkinson’s for six years.
Recently however, his health has began to detoriate leading to Jarlath being unable to continue to work.
The Claddagh Ring in Hendon will hold the live music and buffet event with any money raised going towards Jarlath’s day-to-day costs as well as any hospital appointments and medical treatments with the organisers adding that “no contribution is too small”.
One of the community members told Galway Live: “Our friend and loved one Jarlath has been courageously battling Parkinson’s disease for six years.
“Due to the progression of his condition, Jarlath has been unable to work for the past six months, creating significant financial challenges for him and his family.
“Parkinson’s affects daily life in many ways, making simple tasks increasingly difficult.
“While Jarlath continues to fight with determination and strength, the loss of income has added enormous pressure during an already challenging time.”
“Your kindness and generosity will help ease the financial burden and show Jarlath and his family that they are not facing this journey alone.”
