MORE DETAILS ON US CAR CRASH WHICH CLAIMED THE LIFE OF ANN COLEMAN AND HER HUSBAND

More details have emerged about the tragic deaths of Abbeyknockmoy's Ann Coleman and her husband Kerry native Joe O'Connell in a car crash in the US50 year old Joe and 44 year old Ann Coleman were killed in a crash in Iowa on Sunday, 250 kilometres west of ChicagoTheir 15 year old daughter had been driving at the time while their other daughter is now in a critical condition.The family of five moved to the US a number of years ago and had been living in Madison, WisconsinThey were on a two-week road trip when tragedy struck on Sunday evening just before 7 on Highway 6150 year old Joe O'Connell died instantly when the 2003 Honda van they were travelling in flipped on a rural road in north-eastern Iowa. His wife Ann died at University Hospital in Iowa City. Their 10 year old daughter Maeve underwent surgery yesterday and is in intensive care.The couple's other daughter Sarah, who's 15 and was driving at the time of the crash, was taken to hospital along with her 13 year old brother Colman. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
