MEDICAL COMPANY REVIEWS OPERATIONS INCLUDING BALLINASLOE

Japanese medical devices company, U.S.C.I is carrying out a global review of its operations which includes its Ballinasloe facility.It's understood management from Japan arrived at the premises at the IDA business park in Ballinasloe last week to inform the workforce that the review would be carried out over the next month.There are 47 people employed in the Ballinasloe base, which focuses primarily on research and development.Managing Director of USCI Ballinasloe, Tom Greaney confirmed to Galway Bay Fm News that the worldwide review is underway.
