LOUGHREA TOWN COUNCIL REDUCES RATES FOR 2011

Loughrea rate payers have received an unexpected Christmas bonus.
The Town Council unanimously passed rate of 3 euro and 4 cent at their monthly meeting last night.
This is a 7 cent reduction on last year's figure, which Director of Services Jim Cullen says reflects the current economic climate.
