The organisers of "Lets Do It Galway" have denied reports of a long running pay dispute dating back to 2009 with suppliers of the Volvo Ocean Race festival.

A national newspaper report had today stated that two suppliers have threatened to withdraw services due to delayed payments and arrears dating back to the last stopover.

Those involved include Event Medical Services and Mongey Communications.

Enda O'Coineen, Chairperson of "Let's Do It Galway" says all supplier bills relating to the 2009 stopover HAVE been paid.

He has also stressed that current payment concerns with the two suppliers in question at this week's finale have also now been resolved.

Speaking on Galway Talks, he says a fine balance is being taken to cope with cashflow issues and all bills will be honoured.

He says no supplier has withdrawn their services.
