GALWAY COMPANY TO CREATE 450 JOBS IN UNITED STATES

Galway based group C&F have expanded to the United States and is to create 450 new jobs there over the next four years.

The group, run by John Flaherty, has signed a 12 and a half million dollar investment to locate in Kingsport Tennessee.

The company manufactures products for the automotive industry as well as small wind turbines.

Officials from the C&F Group, which has its headquarters at Cashla Athenry, visited the Kingsport location last year in a bid to find a location for its American operations.

C&F Manufacturing USA Incorporated will be a stand-alone operation.
