EUROPEAN AFFAIRS MINISTER TO MEET NUIG STAFF

Galway students should look to the European market when considering employment opportunities after graduation.

That's according to Lucinda Creighton, Minister for European Affairs who will brief staff at NUI Galway today.

The Minister will be asking staff to encourage students to consider jobs and internships in European institutions.

Minister Creighton says it's important Ireland is well represented in the European Union and advises job hunters to keep a close eye on the website EU jobs dot ie.

The minister will also meet with Galway Chamber of Commerce this afternoon.
