Athenry Camogie Club aim big with fundraising project

HOW would you like to celebrate Christmas 2021 by taking home the keys to a brand-new house and car? Well, Athenry Camogie Club have presented the public with a chance to claim the ultimate festival present this year.

The purchase of a ticket for the club’s draw on December 18 will give supporters the opportunity of winning a magnificent prize, while assisting Athenry camogie’s ambitious new pitch development project.

The first prize winner will claim the keys to a new 3-bedroom house located at the Willows in Athenry, while also driving away in a brand-new Audi A4 S-Line car. Ticket holders will also be in with a chance to win one of the monthly prizes of €1,000 which will be drawn each month between March and December.

The 3-bedroom house is in a prime location on the edge of the town, within a very short distance of both Presentation and Clarin College, as well as the Raheen Woods Hotel and Leisure Centre. The location also provides easy access to the M6 and M18 motorways, for anyone commuting to Galway/Limerick/Dublin.

Athenry Camogie Club have launched a hugely ambitious project, which they hope will benefit camogie players in the 433-member club for generations to come. Athenry are seeking to become the first camogie club in the country to develop and own their own playing facilities.
