Galway weather forecast u-turn as Met Eireann cancel warnings

Weather conditions are going to do a complete 180
Met Eireann has forecast a weather u-turn for Galway and for most of the country after cancelling weather warnings late last night.
Galway had gotten severe thunder showers throughout the day on Tuesday with more originally forecast for the rest of this week.
The script has changed somewhat for the country, with Met Eireann even cancelling a thunderstorm weather warning for Donegal, as we’re set to be thunderstorm clear for the rest of the week before possibly returning on Saturday.
It’s not all good news though as lots of rain, heavy at times, has been prescribed in its place as temperatures flirt in and out of the high teens and low 20s.
The remainder of the week is looking to see a mix of showers and drier spells with occasional sunshine breaking through. It will be fresher at times, especially for those near the coasts.
Here’s what Met Eireann is forecasting weather wise from today until Friday:
Wednesday: “Unseasonably windy day today, particularly in the north, with showery spells of rain, heavy at times. Further south and east will stay drier with sunny spells developing. Highest temperatures of 14 to 21 degrees, warmest in the southeast with moderate to fresh & gusty northwest winds.”
Tonight: “Cloudy in the north early on with outbreaks of rain and drizzle which will gradually ease and clear eastward early on. Otherwise, a generally dry night instore with clear spells elsewhere and well scattered showers feeding in from the west. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.”
Thursday: “A bright day with some spells of sunshine, hazy in parts, and overall mainly dry for most. There'll be some scattered showers around too though, especially further to the north and west. Highest temperatures of 15 to 21 degrees in light to moderate west to northwest winds.”
Friday: “Another generally dry day with a mix of cloud and sunny spells with scattered showers. Later in the afternoon, cloud will start to increase again with rain and drizzle moving in over parts of southwest, west and northwest. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees, in light to moderate southwest winds, fresh along northwest coasts.”
