TWO MEN TO RETURN BEFORE COURTS OVER CREGGS RAID

Two men are to appear before the court again this week charged in connection with an attempted robbery at the post office in Creggs last month.

Gerard Mooney, who is aged in his 30s and from Castlerea in County Roscommon, is charged with possession of stolen property.

Ciaran McLoughlin, also aged in his 30s and from Castlerea, is charged with possession of stolen property and with the unauthorised taking of an MPV.

The two men, who were both remanded in custody on their last court date, are to appear before Harristown District Court again this Friday August 24th.
