GALWAY ISLANDERS TO BENEFIT FROM GOVERNMENT JOBS FOCUS

The Government has promised to focus on enterprise and employment for the Aran Islands.
Minister of State for the Gaeltacht Dinny McGinley made the assurance to islanders at the Comdhail Oilean na hEireann AGM.
Representatives from islands along the west and south coast - including our own Aran Islands - met with Minister McGinley over the weekend.
He told them he plans to visit as many islands during his term in office to identify their needs.
