CITY EVENT TO DISCUSS OCEAN ENERGY POTENTIAL

Plans to develop Ireland's ocean energy potential will be discussed at a public consultation event in the city this morning. [16/11]

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, SEAI, is running the consultation day at the Galway Bay Hotel.

It will focus on offshore wind, wave and tidal energy and the public is invited to review the documents published by the SEAI and make submissions.

Representatives from the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources will introduce the plan at the event at 10.30 this morning.
