New development to launch in July

Maoilín, Galway’s newest residential development consisting of 73 contemporary homes, will see its first phase released into the market early July.
This is the first example of building to this scale in Galway for the last seven years and the developer says Maoilín is meeting a fundamental need for quality, affordable, sustainable family homes in the city.
Developed by Michael Burke and built by Burkeway Homes in conjunction with renowned architects McCauley Daye O’Connell, Maoilín is located on the Ballymoneen Road in the prosperous and thriving suburban area of Knocknacarra.
All houses are A-rated and include fully fitted kitchens.
Designed for families, the overall development consists of two, three and four bedroom semi-detached and detached homes complimented by a large central green, children’s play area and carefully designed landscaped areas.
Phase 1 will comprise of three and four bedroom houses starting from €239,500.
Speaking about the development, Michael Burke, Managing Director of Burkeway Homes, emphasised that “the houses are all A-rated and finished to the highest quality standards”.
“Energy efficient specifications include solar panels, thermal insulation, heat recovery systems and high efficiency gas boilers as standard,” he said.
He noted that these features will result in low running costs, making the houses very attractive to families and first time buyers who want to settle in Galway.
Maoilín also benefits from close proximity to both Galway city centre and easy access to West Galway.
Knocknacarra boasts a range of local amenities including two shopping centres, schools, leisure centres, public parks, sports facilities, restaurants and public transport.
Phase 1, comprising of 13 homes, will launch in July.
