WEST CONNEMARA STILL WITHOUT PHONE SERVICES

Many people in West Connemara remain without telephone services in their homes as a result of lightening damage more than a week ago.There's growing anger about the delay in getting the phones fixed - many people have been told that it will be some days more before they get re-connected.The reduction in the Eircom staff in West Connemara is thought to be a significant factor in this delay.
