Met Eireann weekend forecast as big weather change coming for Ireland

It might have an affect on your weekend plans
Met Eireann is predicting that we will be returning back to the rain in a big way over the weekend as Friday, Saturday and Sunday will all see showers hitting each region.
Friday will be cloudy and breezy with outbreaks of rain in western parts that will spread east and become heavy.
Rain will ease in the afternoon but there will be further outbreaks of rain for the rest of the day with some mist and fog.
Driers spells towards the evening and night time with temperatures of 18C dropping to just 11C overnight as more rain, mist and fog follows.
The overview looking into next week states that it will become drier and more settled as high pressure builds.
Here’s Met Eireann’s weather forecast for the weekend and into next week:
Tomorrow: “Saturday will be breezy generally, with a lot of dry weather overall and some bright or sunny spells. There'll be some scattered mostly light showers too though, these mainly affecting the northern half of the country. Highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees in moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty southwest to west winds, stronger in the north and northwest, but the winds will gradually moderate from the south through the day.”
Saturday night: “Dry for most with clear spells and just a few showers, mainly in the northwest. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees with westerly winds decreasing light to moderate.”
Sunday: “Mostly dry early on with a mix of cloud and sunny spells though a few stray showers will occur, mainly in the north and west. Cloud will thicken in the southwest and west with some light rain or drizzle possible. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees in light, occasionally moderate westerly or variable breezes.”
Monday: “Mild and rather cloudy with just some bright or sunny spells developing. While there will be a good deal of dry weather overall, patchy rain and drizzle will occur along with some mist and hill fog. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees in light, occasionally moderate southwesterly winds.”
