An attack on the delivery of public health services in rural Ireland.

That's the opinion of Health Unions meeting at Merlin Park today

The unions are currently hearing a presentation on proposed cuts to services to save the HSE West around 68 million euro by the end of the year.

The cancellation of all elective procedures and the closure of wards, are just some of the items on the agenda for discussion.
