TUAM COUNCIL ANGRY AT PROGRESS OF LOUGHREA HOSPITAL

Members of Tuam Town Council are angry that plans for a 100 bed hospital in Loughrea have been moving ahead of the proposed Tuam health campus.Tuam town board members hit out at the HSE West at their monthly meeting this week. [6/10]Councillor Paul O’Grady said fair play to those involved in the Loughrea project but questions must be asked as to why it was progressing so fast in a few months while Tuam was waiting years for its proposed hospital.Councillor Martin Ward also said fair play to those campaigning for the Loughrea project but Tuam was being forgotten about.
