Strong indications Rossaveal campaign for safer road has succeeded

Galway Bay fm newsroom - There are indications that a footpath will be provided by Galway County Council alongside the roadway in Rossaveal where a number of pedestrians have lost their lives in recent years.

A strong campaign for the footpath has been ongoing since the latest fatality when 16 year old Leah Feeney died last month.

The county council has now indicated it has the funds to move ahead with the work.
