Seminar to address restoration of Western lakes and water bodies
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Around 60 delegates including international speakers and policy-makers will gather in the city tomorrow to discuss the restoration of the West region's lakes and water bodies.
A seminar hosted by the West Regional Authority in conjunction with the Lake Admin EU Project, will provide a forum for discussion on policy.
The Water Framework Directive and foreign policy will be addressed at the event, which takes place in the Council Chamber on Prospect Hill in the city from 9 tomorrow morning.
Director of the Western Regional Authority Mark O'Donnell says a number of major agencies will be represented at the event.
