A Public Health clinic in Portumna has had to be shut down due to a field mice infestation. The HSE has confirmed it recently temporarily closed Portumna Health Centre following reported sightings of field mice in the building. A pest control company was brought in immediately to inspect the building and the Health Centre has now been given the all-clear. It's hoped Portumna Health Centre will open again next week following a clinical clean and minor maintenance work.
