Remedial works to take place at Bawnmore National School

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway County Council has confirmed that remedial works will take place at Bawnmore National School over the summer period. The works will include the removal of a tree and a dangerous bend at the cross roads to make the area safer for motorists and pedestrians coming from the Corrandulla direction. The works will be funded by the National Roads Authority under the council's low cost accident scheme. Oranmore area councillor Malachy Noone has welcomed the progress, and says it's good news for parents and staff at Bawnmore National School.
