Public meeting to discuss future development of Renmore school

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A public meeting will be held in the city this evening to discuss the future development of Scoil Chaitríona in Renmore. The school's Board of Management is seeking a new building and campus to replace the temporary accommodation it currently occupies. The board says that despite ongoing efforts to maintain the building, the school has to continuously invest in repair works. Energy inefficiencies are also being blamed for increasing costs at the current premises. The public meeting will be held in the Clayton Hotel in Ballybrit at 7.30 this evening.
