Public information evening on suicide prevention services in East Galway

Galway bay fm newsroom - A public information meeting on the provision of services for suicide prevention in East Galway takes place in Ballinasloe later this month.

The meeting has been organised by newly founded group, GELS, which stands for Galway East Life Support.

The comittee got together to address the gap in voluntary and statutory services for suicide prevention, and hopes to entice organisations to set up in the area.

The public information meeting takes place in Gullanes Hotel in Ballinasloe on the 26th of June at 7:30pm.

Speaking on Galway Talks Superintendent in the Ballinasloe district, and Chairman of GELS, Gerry Roche says many groups will take part on the night
