Pride of Place judging in five areas of Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Judges from the All Ireland Pride of Place awards will arrive in Galway to spend three days in the five communities nominated for a 2014 title. The IPB awards is a competition to recognise improvements made by local communities to create civic pride in their areas. Claregalway, Belclare/Sylane, Shragh/Woodford, Killimor and the Iorras Aithneach will represent County Galway. Each community will provide judges with a formal presentation followed by a Q&A session and a tour of their locality. The overall winners will be announced at a special gala ceremony in November.
