PORTUMNA TO GET NEW BRIDGE BY NOVEMBER

A new swing bridge on the N65 over the river Shannon in Portumna will be in place by November.The old bridge which is used by all traffic travelling between Nenagh and Portumna has been in a state of disrepair for some time.The new bridge is currently under construction and will be installed over 9 days on October 25th.
