O CUIV LIKELY TO FACE QUESTIONS AT WEST GALWAY MEETING

Date Published: 18-Sep-2011
Fianna Fail Deputy Eamon Ó Cuív is likely to face questions at a meeting of the West Galway Constituency Comhairle Dáil cheantair in Moycullen tomorrow night.
The meeting has been scheduled for some time but it now coincides with controversies about nominations for the Presidential election and reports today that the Galway West TD is considering setting up a breakaway party.
Last week, Deputy Ó Cuív threatened to quit saying he would find it difficult to stay on if Deputy Michael Martin's proposal that the party not nominate anyone was voted on.
