NO ARRESTS YET AFTER CITY ASSAULT

No arrests have yet been made following an assault in the city centre overnight.A man in his 20s was walking alone on Market street just after midnight when he was attacked.It's understood he was hit on the head with a metal object and had to be rushed to hospital but has since been discharged.
