NEW SPIDDAL NURSING HOME CREATES UP TO 30 JOBS

A 6 million euro nursing home which provides integrated services for convalescent patients is being officially opened in Spiddal this afternoon by Minister Éamon Ó CuívÁras Chois Fharraige, has been developed by Aidan and Henrietta McGrath on the site of the old Sacred Heart Nursing home, with support from Udaras na GaeltachtaÁras Chois Fharraige has the capacity to cater for 42 patients in total and currently houses 26 residents.The nursing home in Spiddal currently employs 16 people and it’s estimated that it will employ 30 people on a full and part time basis when the centre is fully occupied.
