NEW ROAD REPAIR TEAMS FOR ATHENRY AND LOUGHREA

Two new road repair teams are being assigned to Athenry and Loughrea according to the National Roads Authority.The decision was taken following a visit to the East Galway area last Friday by a senior engineer with the NRA.Galway-based Senator, Ciarán Cannon is welcoming the new dedicated repair crews which he believes are vital because of the damage being caused to local roads due to the construction of the N6 motorway. The teams will remain in place until the new road is completed.
