New city store to generate 35 jobs
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A new store in the city is to generate 35 jobs.
Cara, which is located at the former HMV premises on Barrack Lane, will officially open tomorrow.
The Galway store will be the 15th Cara outlet nationwide, and will bring the company's employment to 150 staff.
The chain recently re-branded from Cara Pharmacies after expanding their retail to include home, lifestyle and baby goods.
Joint Managing Director Ramona Nicholas told Galway Bay fm news that they've had their sights set on the city for a while.
