N6 CONSTRUCTION COMPANY ENTERS TALKS WITH EAST GALWAY LANDOWNERS

Date Published: 08-Sep-2008

Talks are expected to get underway this evening between the N6 Construction Company and East Galway landowners following a day-long protest that stopped work along a stretch of the new Galway to Ballinasloe road. Landowners in the Poolboy area have blocked dumper trucks from crossing the bog road by barricading the entrances with jeeps and cars.
