MURDER INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO DEATH OF CLAREGALWAYMAN

A post mortem examination on the body of a young Claregalwayman has revealed he died from multiple stab wounds. Gardai investigating the death of 20 year-old Kieran Cunningham have now launched a full murder investigation, with a team of 40 detectives working on the case.They're looking for the public's help in identifying a man and a woman and have released a CCTV image of the couple. Kieran Cunningham, of Slievefinn, died in hospital from his injuries after the attack on Williamsgate Street early yesterday.He worked at the deli counter in Hughes supermarket in Claregalway.
