MEN IN COURT OVER CITY BARE KNUCKLE FIGHT

Two men, who have vowed to kill each other when they meet again, appeared in custody before Galway District Court yesterday.They're charged in connection with a bare knuckled, bloody fight which took place at the top of Shop Street last Wednesday afternoon.A crowd of over 200 people, some of whom filmed the incident and posted it on the internet, formed a large circle around the fight near Brown Thomas.Judge Gerard Houghton granted bail to both men on their own sureties of €300 and independent sureties of €3,000, to appear before the court again on November 12 to set a date for hearing if necessary.
