Refugees and management at an accommodation centre in the city are holding an emergency meeting following a dispute over its facilities.

The meeting at Lisbrook House, the former Ibis Hotel, on the Headford road got underway at around 11 o' clock.

The meeting was called after 180 residents staged a demonstration inside the centre earlier this morning.

It's understood they are protesting over services such as catering and accommodation at the centre.

Around 30 staff are employed at Lisbrook house, which accommodates up to 250 refugees.
