MAN CHARGED WITH STABBING IN BALLYBANE

A 23 year-old man has been remanded in custody over a stabbing incident in Ballybane at the weekend. Yaw Anakwa of 16 Glendara, Rahoon appeared before Galway District court this week charged with assault causing harm to another man contrary to Section 3 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the State Act. The stabbing took place at 5 Dun Breathnach, Ballybane at ten to two on Sunday morning.
