Major Galway event postponed last minute
It has been rescheduled for over a week’s time
Tracy Piggott was penciled in to complete her incredible 14km underwater endurance swim across Galway Bay in support of Sensational Kids charity.
However, the weather has not played ball today which has pushed the swim back by over a week.
Tracy told Galway Live: “Unfortunately due to weather conditions this morning on Galway Bay Tracy's swim has been postponed until the 8th August, full details to follow.”
There are three ways you can be part of this extraordinary achievement on August 8:
You can: Join Tracy for the last 100 metres and help bring her home to Salthill Beach; Join the organisers at the Salthill Hotel at 1pm to give Tracy the warm welcome she deserves following her estimated arrival at Salthill Beach at 12 noon.
