Killimor amenity complex gets green light

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Plans to build a children's playground and all weather playing pitch in Killimor have been approved.

Galway County Council has given the project the green light with 5 conditions - one of which states that certain details must be submitted prior to demolition work.

The new facility will be based in the townlands of Garryad and Garrynasillagh.

The plans also involve the construction of a new site entrance and access road and six 12 metre high flood lighting columns.
