JURY SWORN IN FOR AHASCRAGH PRIEST'S DEFAMATION TRIAL

The jury in the defamation trial by an Ahascragh priest against RTÉ is being sworn in at the High Court in Dublin.

Fr. Kevin Reynolds is taking the action over a Primetime programme broadcast on May 23rd last, over false claims about his relationship with a woman in Africa.

RTÉ since apologised for defaming the priest and said the allegations were baseless.
