'Jail the bankers' protest for Galway city

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A 'jail the bankers' protest will take place in the city tomorrow (sat june 29)

The Galway branch of People Before Profit is organising the protest which will gather at the former Anglo Irish bank on Forster Street at noon

The protestors will then march to AIB Shop Street for a general rally coinciding with a rally at the GPO in Dublin at the same time tomorrow afternoon

Co-ordinator of the Galway rally Dette McLoughlin says people must take to the streets to demand justice which is the jailing of bankers and the seizure of their assets
