HOMEOWNERS WARNED ABOUT STRAY HORSES IN GORT

Householders living in private homes in Gort are being advised that horses who trespass on their property cannot be put out onto the public road.Councillor Bridie Willers says there have been several complaints of roaming horses in Gort in recent weeks.However legislation restricts homeowners from putting the horses out onto a public road for safety reasons.
