GOVERNMENT UNDER FIRE OVER CLAREGALWAY BYPASS FUNDING

The Government is coming under fire for not funding the total cost of the Claregalway bypass. The Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey has told Galway County council he expects the people of Claregalway to find ways to contribute to the cost of the bypass. Opposition Councillors have described it as another broken promise.
