Management at Galway Mayo Institute of Technology is being called on to address the serious disruption that student cars are causing to local residents.

City Councillor Terry O' Flaherty has received complaints from residents who claim students are recklessly parking in nearby estates.

Cllr O' Flaherty says cars are being parked dangerously on corners and are blocking driveways, preventing access to services such as oil trucks and refuse trucks.
