Protestors against the ongoing conflict in Gaza have gathered in the city this afternoon to coincide with the visit of a Government Minister.
Junior Defense Minister Thomas Byrne earlier attended a school in Spiddal, before making his way to University of Galway.
This lunchtime, he's at Galway City Council for a briefing event on Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the EU.
These protestors were among several dozen at University of Galway earlier.
