GALWAY TD RANKS 5TH IN HIGHEST EXPENSES LIST

A Galway T.D is among a list of politicians with the ten highest expenses claims for the first half of this year.Galway East T.D Ulick Burke claimed just over €47,000 from January to June this year, ranking him as having the 5th highest expenses.Galway West T.D and Minister, Éamon Ó Cuív claimed just over €14,200 for the same period.Laois Offaly T. D and Junior Minister, John Moloney claimed the most expenses for the first half of this year of €51,000.The figures obtained by the Irish Examiner reveal that Taoiseach Brian Cowen and Fine Gael leader, Enda Kenny claimed the exact same sum of €9,800 euro.
