GALWAY RAIL SERVICES RETURN TO NORMAL

Iarnrod Eireann rail services between Galway and Dublin have returned to normal following an incident where a train struck a car at a crossing in Gurrane Oranmore this morning.Nobody was injured in the incident which happened shortly before 10 o clock involving the 7.10am Heuston to Galway train.The train was delayed for over an hour and there were some delays with Galway Dublin services as a result.However an Iarnrod Eireann spokesperson has confirmed to Galway Bay FM news that all services are now running as normal.The company has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash and Gardai in Oranmore are also investigating the incident.
