GALWAY FARMERS IN GROUP WHO STORM WEXFORD AGRICULTURE OFFICES

Up to 15 farmers from the Galway area are among a group who have entered the Department of Agriculture offices in Wexford in protest against delayed payments.

Up to 250 farmers understood to be members of the Irish Farmers Association are also outside Johnstown castle for the protest.

Two people have been taken to Wexford General Hospital with minor injuries.

Gardai were called to intervene in the situation.
