Galway experiences severe weather conditions overnight

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Snow and ice has affected many parts of the county overnight. A status yellow warning from Met Eireann is in place for Galway and many parts of teh coutnry until midday. Accumulations of up to 3 centimetres are reported in Galway and many parts of teh west and north west. Motorists are advised to be cautious on local roads which have not been salted.
